Good Afternoon, we have a wooden and metal mezzanine and we need to fire proof it before we make a production facility below, could you recommend a fire retardant paint which complies with Probably Class 1 or Class 0 under BS476 , can this be applied by any painter and decorator or should we employ a professional company? low odour if possible. It would be unusual to be asked to achieve class 1 or 0 on metal, we would recommend to consult building control on what level of fire protection you require.
