Hello. i want to use fire retardant paint on 11mm OSB board. Will your Thermo Guard paint provide 30 mins burning time protection? Also how many coats will it require & would you suggest using a base coat primer? Many Thanks Kerry
Unfortunately the maximum level of fire protection we could offer on OSB is class 0.
If your building control officer approves it for your application, the osb is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet Thermoguard Safewood Anti-Viral Fire Protection System could be used.
