I am building a 2 story log cabin and have been asked by building control to fire treat the internal pine cladding. Which products would you recommend for treating a. the pine clad internal walls ( cladding is 20mm thick tongue and groove pine already been varnished) to achieve at least European standard c and b the ceilings in the down stairs rooms (15mm tongue and groove already varnished) to achieve 30minute fire protection. We would recommend Envirograf QVFR Clear Class 1/0 & EN Class B System for Wood (Interior) for area requiring EN class B s1 d0. For areas requiring 30 minute fire protection we would recommend the following:
- 1 coat of Envirograf HWAP/WB Primer @ 10m² per litre
- 2 coats of Envirograf HW02N Clear Intumescent Coating @ 8m² per litre/per coat
- 1 coats of Envirograf HW Excel Clear Top Coat (Matt, Satin or Gloss) @ 10m² per litre
