Need Help?

I am looking to create a set of access doors to the back end of a kitchen island through a new plasterboard fire wall in a residential property. This will be made out of wood, or mdf and will need to meet fire regulations and approval of building control, presumably including smoke seals. Would you be able to recommend what of the following I will need to meet regulations that you can supply and what products you would recommend? - hinges - latches - handles - seals - paint for wood or mdf Anything else you believe I should consider.

Can you advise what level of fire protection would satisfy your fire regulation requirements and building control please?
