I am looking to protect a new timber vaulted ceiling in the bedroom of a single storey log cabin with clear intumescent varnish, gloss or satin to satisfy Scottish building control. Could you please recommend a product that is easy to apply and that will enhance the appearance of the wood as well as protecting the timber from fire. The ceiling is 20mm thick tongue and grooved redwood, area 22.56 sq mtrs. Thank you Neil Harrison
