Need Help?

I have a recessed cooker. The largest gas ring is right next to a fire boarded & skimmed wall. This gets extremely hot when I have a very large pan on it- I have a very small homemade food business. The flames will not be in direct contact with the part of the wall I want to paint- I have a very thin kitchen grade stainless steel up stand right next to the flame area . Will any of your paints be suitable for painting the wall from the steel upwards- it’ll get extremely hot for the duration of the cooking times - approximately a few hours at a time a couple of times a month not daily. Also what is the finish like please? Many thanks in advance.

We could only suggest Thermoguard Wallcoat Smoke & Flame Retardant Topcoat for this application. Due to you not knowing exactly how hot the surfaces gets we would suggest trialling a small area to see how it performs before painting the whole area.
