We have been advised to paint wood at the rear of a village hall stage with intumescent paint. Can it be painted over with ordinary paint e.g. black so as not to ruin the look of a stage?
Most of our fire protection systems can come in the colour and finish of your choice, so black would be no issue for the system to come in for example meaning you would not have to worry about overcoating.
