Hi I am looking at painting a ships container (20` x8` x8`) it is situated on a seafront. It will be sandblasted before I paint it. So I would need a primer and a top coat. It will then need to be painted with Leyland Pliolite Masonry paint. Please can you advise me on what to use and the quantity I would need. Many Thanks Simon
For this application we would not recommend applying a masonry paint to a steel container.
As you are sand blasting the container we can recommend Rust-Oleum Mathys Noxyde for this application, on steel no additional primer is required and would provide a far longer lasting solution than Leyland masonry paint pliolite or otherwise.
