Need Help?

Hi, I have installed ceiling mounted IR heaters at a property where the ceiling is white painted timber, with water based satinwood paint. Even though the heaters point down they have caused the paint to bubble with the excess heat. The heaters are installed in line with the manufacturer guidelines! Is there a paint you can recommend, or should I perhaps look to install a fireboard panel above the heater, or increase the mounting distance from the ceiling, or a mix of all these!? Help much appreciated Alex

We wouldn't have anything we could recommend paint wise for this application so it is likely you would need to alter the mounting distance or potentially change the substrate they are mounted on to.
