Need Help?

Hi, We have a tearoom and have just sanded back solid wood table tops, applied stain and then a matt clear varnish to coat and protect but i'm thinking that i probably need a more durable and scratch free covering to protect when cutlery, crockery are placed on tables. Can you suggest a strong, hard wearing and durable coating to use from your range ....should i use a polycrylic or polyurethene coating to seal ? kind regards Martyn

If you are looking for a more durable finish for the tables we can recommend Rust-Oleum 4900 Polycoat 2K.

It is very abrasion resistant, available in a matt or gloss finish, does not yellow, can be used internally and externally, resists boiling water, alcohol, coffee, red wine, dilute acid and alkalis.
