Hi Im a landlord and one of the recommendations from fire inspection is to paint a panel adjacent to the ground floor staircase with fire resistant paint. Area is approx 2.5m X 2m. Also a wood /MDF narrow panel adjacent to the front door (internal) of one of the flats. Is there a paint that will do both jobs and how much will I need? Thanks
We are assuming both panels in question are made from timber, if so please provide us with as much of the following information as possible;
- Size of surface area to paint (for both areas)
- Timber thickness (for both panels)
- Level of Fire Protection required (Class 1, Class 0, 30min, 60min, etc.)
- Type of timber (i.e. pine, mdf, plywood, etc.)
- Internal or external
- Use (i.e. floor, cupboard door, ceiling, etc.)
- Clear or coloured coating required?
- Bare or previously coated?
