Hello I have carried out some repair works to a chimney with new lead work and render work. I waited for the render to cure then applied a coat of Stormdry Masonry cream about 10 days ago. we have had particularly heaven rain overnight and the chimney has been leaking. I have spoke to Stormdry and they have told me that it can take 4 weeks for the product to cure and be completely waterproof. I can wait for another 2weeks to see if it creates a waterproof barrier. If not then I will need to coat over the top of it with something. Stormdry have said that the masonry cream can be over coated but only with a solvent coating. Would you be able to recommend a suitable product that would provide a bombproof waterproof solution ? Many thanks for your help in this matter Kind regards Paul
