Hi, I am looking at utilising the garage on a property we have recently bought, as a workshop for woodworking. The property was built in 1983, with the garage concluding in 1985. The garage has a concrete base, does not appear damp, however I want to protect from moisture risks in the future. Is there a product I can paint on the garage floor to create a protective layer / seal? I plan to install 7mm garage floor tiles over the top. The space is roughly 4.8m x 5.1m (24.48m2) Thank you in advance Paul
Assuming it is bare, clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the techncial data sheet by grinding you could consider the garage floor paint below:
Two coats would be required, for 25m² you would require approximately 17kg.
The minimum temperature of the substrate and ambient air for application is 5°C.
Once fully cured you could lay interlocking garage floor tiles over this or leave it as a wear layer.
