Need Help?

Hi, I''ve used Rustoleum 7200 Floorcoat PU satin gloss on my exposed front porch with steps. After a year I'm still very happy with the results. Can I use the same product on interior wood stairs? These are currently painted in a satin floor paint – a different product – but showing signs of wear, especially on the bullnoses of the treads which are showing bare wood in places. We would prefer a high gloss finish but are concerned about whether this would be too slippy for a staircase. We do not intend to use any other floor covering over the painted finish. 1. Can you recommend the 7200PU for this application? 2. Will it be safe to use a full gloss or is the satin-gloss significantly more grippy? 3. Will we require two coats in this application? 4. Do we need to sand down the existing surface? --- I also have a very dusty unsealed concrete garage floor. 5. Please could you recommend a product that will adhere to this surface and is ideally a one-coat solution that will last at least 5 years before renewal. Many thanks for any advice. Andrew
