Need Help?

I want to paint a metal bird bath but not sure what paint would be suitable for having water in it all the time and it of course has to be bird safe. Someone recommended using chlorinate rubber paint but I’m not sure. What would you recommend?

Unfortunately we do not have a product that is tested to be animal safe.

With that in mind, assuming the bird bath is bare steel, it is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet you could consider Teamac Metaclor Underwater Primer followed by Teamac Chlorvar Chlorinated Rubber Paint.

This can be mixed to many RAL, NCS or BS colours in a gloss finish.
