I want to use Kolorbond Hypakolor pure white on a black rubber matting. do I need a white primer as opposed to a clear primer?

Kolorbond Hypakolor does not normally require a primer, but the surface must be thoroughly cleaned with Kolorbond VinylKleen, then cleaned with Kolorbond WindowPrep.
