Need Help?

Hi I need to re paint a large metal bridge that spans a 2 hectare lake with fish in it. the bridge is approx 15 metres long. the paint must not be a hazard to the fish. I was told I would need a water based non toxic paint. can you advise on a suitable product. i would prefer a colour if possible of dark green or grey if feasible. Thank you Alan Cotgrove

Rust-Oleum Mathys Noxyde Peganox would be an ideal product to consider, however although it is waterbased this still doesn't mean you are safe to allow it to enter the water during application. This will be the same for any paint, single pack water based paints will likely be less toxic than other solvent or two pack alternatives but precautions will still need to be taken during application and drying.
