I have recently had a domestic hot water cylinder fitted, and to fit it in the airing cupboard the plumbers had to cut of some of the thermal foam.what can I paint the foam with to protect it put a skin on it as it were. Thankyou

We would suggest Zinsser AllCoat Exterior Satin (Water Based), apply at least 2 coats. It should adhere OK and provide a protective layer over the foam.
