Need Help?

We have a concrete floor in our hallway which contains wooden bearers that an old wooden floor was attached. During a renovation the old wooden floor was removed and the hallway was carpeted. The bearers 35mm wide by 50mm deep approx have rotted as have the carpet gripper. Causing dips in the carpet. Given the age of the property a former Victorian stable I would imagine the original screed in the hallway was laid on to soil with no membrane. So could you recommend products for 1 filling the screed once I removed the wooden bearers and 2 applying a damp proof membrane to the repaired screed that I can then re-carpet.

Thank you for the enquiry, we have contacted you directly with a detailed recommendation.
