Tankguard HB Classic is a pure epoxy tank coating suitable for both transportation and storage of a wide range of chemicals including crude oil, aromatic and aliphatic solvents and others.
- Can be used as primer, mid coat or finish coat in atmospheric and immersed environments

Jotun Tankguard HB Classic is a two component polyamine cured epoxy coating. It has good chemical resistance. Can be used as primer,mid coat or finish coat in atmospheric and immersed environments. Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and concrete substrates.
Typical Uses
Marine:
Designed as an internal tank coating for chemical tanks. This coating has good resistance to a wide range of products. Refer to Marine Product Resistance List. Can be used as a coating for grey water, drilling mud, brine and crude oil tanks.
Protective:
Recommended as an internal lining for offshore, onshore and buried tanks and pipes. Refer to Protective Product Resistance List.

Product to be combined with
Tankguard HB Classic can be used in a system with Tankguard Holding Primer.
BUYER NOTICE: Due to the complexities and risks within tank coatings, Jotun do not support the purchase of their Tankguard range through dealer/distributor channels. Jotun are happy to support with advice and documentation required for these types of coating projects but as they are removed from the end user the ability to control all risks involved with a coating project for a tank is limited. For these reasons, Jotun will only ensure the product quality within the can when Tankguard products are purchased via a distributor such as ourselves.
