Features & Benefits

Areas For Use

• Fixing polyethylene sheet for enclosures prior to asbestos removal
• Fixing thermal insulation
• For packaging applications i.e. palletising or case sealing
• For foam bonding, upholstery, carpets and trim
• For temporary bonding instead of double sided tapes

Directions

• Ensure all surfaces are clean, sound, dry and free from dust, oil, grease or other contaminants
• Shake can well before use
• Hold the aerosol at approximately 6”–8” from and 70° to the surface
• Apply an even coat of adhesive to one or both surfaces, ensuring 80‐100% coverage
• On porous surfaces it may be necessary to apply a second coat
• For one‐way application, let adhesive dry for 30 seconds until tacky and then press into position
• For two‐way application, spray both surfaces and allow to dry for 2 – 5 minutes before bonding
• To prevent the spray nozzle from blocking, at the end of each period of use, turn the can upside down and press nozzle until spray is clear of adhesive
• Excess adhesive can be removed with a suitable solvent cleaner such as Cromar White Spirit
• It is the user’s responsibility to dispose of all packaging correctly

Storage & Shelf Life

Storage:

• Protect from extremes of temperature in a controlled environment between 15 and 35°C, and away from direct sunlight
• Do not stand on a cold concrete floor
• Low temperatures can result in irreparable separation of the adhesive
• Do not allow the product to freeze

Shelf Life:

• 12 months when stored in original, unopened packaging

Limitations

• Dries in two to five minutes under normal conditions, but this will vary under different temperatures and humidity
• High humidity and low temperatures will slow the drying time and if the temperature gets very low, can produce bloom
• Bloom is moisture which forms on the glue line caused by solvent evaporation lowering the air temperature above it
• Always test a small sample area of the substrate to ensure suitability of the product for the application, i.e. vinyls contain large amounts of plasticisers which can bleed and soften the bond
• Do not use on flexible PVC or expanded polystyrene

• As the manufacturer cannot know all the uses its products may be put to, it is the user’s responsibility to determine suitability of use
