A new universal medium-pressure intumescent glazing strip material especially developed to satisfy the demand for a dry glazing system for both door and screen fire resistant applications. It has been specifically developed to achieve reliable fire performance in both BS and EN Standard fire test applications of 30, 60 and 90+ minutes. In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our Products but we cannot guarantee that the colour shown on Customer’s monitor’s display will accurately reflect the colour of the Product on delivery. Sealmaster Fireglaze Tape is a flexible intumescent tape product exhibiting a medium pressure intumescent behaviour when exposed to heating with a degree of expansion of up to 10 times its original volume.

Exceptional resistance to thermal erosion

Sealmaster Fireglaze Tape can be supplied in standard lengths of 2100mm. It is available in a width of choice from 10mm to 64mm in 2.5mm thickness.

Application

Sealmaster Fireglaze Tape is a dry glazing material with a strong adhesive backing to allow rapid and easy installation into both fire door apertures and fire glazing screens.

The material can be easily cut with scissors or a sharp knife and so is very easy to fit to glazing beads and other precision- dependent applications.

It also requires no additional surface protection because it is resistant to atmospheric moisture and carbon dioxide.

It can be used with integrity only, semi-insulating and fully- insulating fire resistant glazing and can be used for fire test durations from 30 minutes up to 90 minutes and beyond.

Sealmaster Fireglaze Tape can also be used as a glazing liner for fire door / screen apertures so this one product can fit two applications where required.

The benefit of using it as both a glazing tape and aperture liner is that when it is used in this combination it forms a thermally resistant “U” shaped protection for the edge of the glazing aiding both integrity and insulation applications.

Sealmaster Fireglaze Tape can also be used for a variety of applications in fire rated composite door systems.
