Rust-Oleum Hard Hat Advanced 2700 Primer and Topcoat

Rust-Oleum Hard Hat Advanced Aerosol is a premium-quality two-pack solution that combines the benefits of a primer and topcoat in one easy-to-use spray. It offers superior corrosion protection and exceptional colour retention, making it perfect for a variety of surfaces in light industrial settings. Available in gloss, matt, and satin finishes, this product ensures a professional look for both interior and exterior applications.

Application

Designed for use on properly prepared painted substrates, the Hard Hat Advanced Aerosol is ideal for small maintenance jobs or touch-ups. It is suitable for light industrial exposures with normal humidity levels. Ensure the surface is clean and dry, free from dirt, grease, oil, and loose rust. Sand intact coatings to provide a proper key for adhesion. Shake the can vigorously for at least one minute before use, and apply several thin layers to achieve adequate coating thickness.

• Heat Resistance: 100°C (dry heat); discoloration may occur above 65°C
• Dry Times by 20º C/RH 50%: Touch dry in 20 minutes, handle dry in 45 minutes, recoat within 1 hour or after 48 hours, fully cured in 7 days
• Theoretical Consumption: 2.5 m² - 3 m² per spray can at 25 µm dry
• VOC Level: 640 - 650 g/l

Precautions and Limitations

Ensure to use this product only in well-ventilated areas or outdoors. Avoid breathing spray or mist. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other ignition sources. Do not spray on an open flame or other ignition source. Do not pierce or burn the can, even after use. Store in a dry, well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and temperatures exceeding 35°C.
