System Compatibility & Recommended Products
This coating is designed to be used with:
- Remmers Epoxy ST 100 (1160) as a primer
- M Plus PUR Top for additional durability and chemical resistance
- Remmers Quartz 01/03 for filled applications
For best results, always use a suitable epoxy primer before application.
Application Guidelines
Professional application is required. The substrate must be firm, dimensionally stable, and free from contaminants that could hinder adhesion. Mixing and application should follow these guidelines:
- Ensure a proper primer is applied before the coating
- Mix components A and B thoroughly for at least 3 minutes
- Apply using a notched trowel or scraper, followed by rolling with a spiked roller
- Maintain a substrate temperature at least 3°C above the dew point
Protect the coated surface for 48 hours from exposure to water and moisture.
Drying & Curing Times
- Recoatable after 12-48 hours
- Accepts mechanical loads after 3 days
- Full load capacity reached after 7 days
For accelerated curing, additives can be used – refer to the technical data sheet for details.
Health and Safety
Contains epoxy resins. Always wear suitable PPE during application. The product should not be used in areas with prolonged UV exposure as epoxy coatings are not colourfast under direct sunlight. Ensure proper ventilation during use.
