Weber Weberfloor Fibre 4310
This self-smoothing, fibre-reinforced screed is designed for both residential and commercial applications. It provides an excellent base layer for a wide range of floor coverings such as vinyl, laminate, carpet, tiles, and more. The product’s advanced formulation allows it to be used in various settings, including bonded, unbonded, and floating substrates. Thanks to its rapid drying properties, you can walk on the surface within just a few hours, and it is ready for final floor coverings within 3 days, depending on site conditions.
Application
Ideal for use on various substrates, including concrete, sand/cement screeds, anhydrite screeds, wooden boards, underfloor heating, insulation boards, and even existing tiles and bitumen. The product is not suitable for use as a wearing screed and should always be covered with a final floor finish. It should not be applied to surfaces exposed to excessive moisture without adequate preparation.
Benefits
- Can be applied manually or by pump.
- Walkable in as little as 2 hours and ready for tile application after 12 hours.
- Compatible with most types of final floor coverings.
- Low Dust Technology™ ensures a cleaner and safer working environment for applicators.
- Fibre-reinforced for enhanced durability, particularly useful for underfloor heating installations.
Preparation and Mixing
Before applying, ensure the substrate is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, and other impurities. Priming with Weberfloor 4716 is essential to promote adhesion and prevent air bubbles. For manual mixing, use a slow-speed electric mixer and follow the specified water ratio to maintain the product's strength and consistency. Excessive water may compromise the screed's performance.
Limitations
- This product must be covered with a final floor finish and is not suitable as a wearing surface.
- Do not use in areas exposed to prolonged moisture without proper preparation.
- Follow the specified thickness requirements for different substrates to ensure optimum performance.
For the best results, always consult the downloadable data sheet for detailed application instructions and recommendations.
