Weber Weberfloor DPM Pro

Weberfloor DPM Pro is a high-performance, two-component epoxy-based damp proof membrane designed for concrete and cement-based screed surfaces. It effectively controls residual construction moisture up to 98% RH, making it suitable for projects where moisture management is critical. The product can be applied in one or two coats depending on surface conditions and dries quickly, allowing fast application of subsequent floor finishes.

Applications

This product is ideal for suppressing moisture in concrete and cement screeds, especially in environments with high moisture levels. It is recommended for use in industrial, commercial, and residential projects. Ensure that the substrate has sufficient pull-off strength of 1MPa for residential or commercial applications and 1.5MPa for industrial settings.

Mixing Instructions

The product is supplied in two pre-mixed components: resin (Component A) and hardener (Component B). Thoroughly mix the components for at least 2-3 minutes using a slow-speed drill fitted with a paddle attachment. Avoid part mixing, as this can affect the product's performance. Once mixed, the product must be used within 30 minutes. If left to stand, the product will generate heat and reduce working time. Dispose of any unused mixture appropriately.

Application Method

weberfloor DPM Pro should be applied to clean, dust-free surfaces. Use a medium pile roller and ensure a continuous, pinhole-free finish. The minimum application thickness is 250μm, which can be checked using a wet film thickness gauge. If the finish is not perfect, a second coat can be applied after 2-3 hours.

Restrictions and Limitations

Weberfloor DPM Pro should not be used on substrates without a structural damp proof membrane. It is designed to suppress only residual construction moisture. Do not use this product on surfaces with active or moving cracks, which should be repaired before application. The minimum application temperature is 5°C; applying the product below this temperature will affect its effectiveness. Always use a suitable flexible jointing system for any movement joints.

Recommendations

To ensure the best results, apply Weberfloor 4716 primer after the DPM Pro has dried. Alternatively, a second coat of DPM Pro can be applied and sand blinded.
