Weber Weberend OCRT

This single-pack, factory-mixed basecoat render is ideal for use with Weber decorative finishes. The one-coat application saves time and effort compared to traditional multi-layer rendering systems. Designed to offer the same high-quality finish as traditional renders, this product can be applied both indoors and outdoors.

Application and Usage

This product can be used on a wide variety of suitably prepared substrates, including brickwork, blockwork, and concrete. It is perfect for projects requiring quick and reliable basecoat application. Ensure that the surface is clean, sound, and free of any contaminants that could hinder adhesion. It's essential to prepare poorly keyed surfaces with a bonding aid such as weberend aid for optimal results.

• Do not apply below DPC or within 150mm of ground level.
• Not suitable for use on gypsum plaster or previously decorated surfaces.

Mixing and Application

For optimal results, mix the render with 4-5 litres of clean water per 25kg bag. Avoid adding excess water to maintain a workable consistency. Apply with a hawk and trowel in a single coat, levelling the surface as needed. In areas of high suction or low suction backgrounds, a first pass might be necessary before the full application. It is critical to follow these guidelines to achieve the best finish and long-lasting performance.

Restrictions and Limitations

Avoid using this product in frost or damp conditions, and do not apply if temperatures fall below 5°C or exceed 30°C. Additionally, direct sunlight or application on hot substrates should be avoided. For applications involving expanded metal lathing, ensure that the lathing is installed as per manufacturer guidelines to minimise the risk of cracking.
