Application Instructions
Surface Preparation
- Remove loose material and chalking surfaces using a wire brush.
- Seal any water infiltration leaks with quick-setting cement.
Application Conditions
- Ensure the working area is well-ventilated.
- Ideal conditions are temperatures above 5°C and below 80% relative humidity.
Methods of Application
- Brush: Use a semi-hard brush without dilution.
- Roller: Use a mohair roller without dilution.
Clean equipment and spills with white spirit.
Limitations and Restrictions
- Not a Waterproofing Product: Durbocem does not prevent saltpetre efflorescence or resist underground water pressure.
- Ventilation: Ensure excellent ventilation during the first weeks after application.
- Compatibility: Check compatibility with substrates and subsequent coatings to avoid potential issues.
