Application Areas

To ensure optimal performance, surfaces must be prepared by shot blasting or similar methods to create a clean, textured, and laitance-free surface. Follow priming recommendations for porous surfaces.

Application Guidelines

This product should be applied in a minimum of two coats using a medium-pile roller. Careful application will ensure intimate surface contact and a fully wetted appearance. Do not apply excessively thick layers to avoid curtaining.

For best results, maintain an ambient temperature between 15°C and 25°C. The product is sensitive to low temperatures, which may alter viscosity and cure times. It is advised to apply the coating within the recommended temperature range for effective curing.

Storage and Shelf Life

This epoxy coating is supplied in pack sizes suitable for on-site application. It should be stored in unopened containers between 10°C and 25°C, away from direct sunlight and frost. With proper storage, the product retains a 12-month shelf life, ensuring long-term usability if stored under optimal conditions.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Tools and brushes used in the application should be cleaned immediately with a xylene-based solvent or a low VOC cleaner. This high-solids coating requires careful handling to maintain equipment quality and coating performance.
