Weber Webertec Grout FG
The three-component polyester grout is designed for professional anchoring and grouting applications, offering exceptional performance and ease of use. This product sets quickly, making it ideal for time-sensitive installations such as securing airport lighting units, bolts, and structural reinforcements.
Applications
This grout can be applied to concrete, steel, and asphalt surfaces. Common uses include:
- Fixing bolts, dowels, and starter bars in vertical and horizontal positions.
- Grouting anchor bolts and holding down steel plates.
- Structural repairs requiring load-bearing properties within hours.
Preparation and Mixing
Ensure all surfaces are clean, sound, and dry. Concrete surfaces should be mechanically prepared to expose clean material, while steel surfaces require grit blasting and degreasing. Asphalt surfaces must be free from dirt and slurry. Always follow preparation guidelines to achieve optimal bonding.
To mix, pour the resin into a suitable container, add the hardener, and stir thoroughly. Add the filler gradually until a uniform consistency is achieved. Do not use site sand or aggregates; only oven-dried aggregates are recommended when bulking for larger gaps.
Limitations and Restrictions
Do not apply the product above recommended temperatures or below 0°C for rapid-grade mixes. Avoid exposure to water or contamination during curing. Not recommended for gap sizes beyond 90 mm unless professionally bulked with the specified aggregate.
