My latest house has the outside woodwork previously painted with Butinox 1 and possibly Butinox 2 on top (Not sure) colour Teak 0521 (found almost empty tin at house of the Butinox1). Can I paint over with Demidekk ultimate (this being water based) on top of oil based. If so what would be the nearest colour and will it adhere direct to the old weathered oil based Butinox (I would think at least 3 to 4 years since last coated).

I'm afraid we currently do not offer the Jotun Demidekk range so wouldn't be able to advise.

my exterior upper box section and porch is painted with butinox 2 antique red, but now discontinued, Your equivalent is demidekk 711 antique red. will this be a match at having to do a repair on the porch and then paint it,

No, the colour will be close but will be visible in just a small patch for repair so the whole surface would need to be coated with Demidekk in the colour of your choice to bring it to one uniform colour.

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.
