Zinsser Universal Degreaser & Cleaner - Versatile And Powerful Solution
Tackles the toughest stains and grime on a wide range of surfaces. Its concentrated formula ensures deep cleaning and effective degreasing, making it an essential product for both professional and home use.
Application
Suitable for various surfaces, this cleaner works wonders on tiles, grout, baths, sinks, showers, tools, equipment, machinery, driveways, BBQs, and ovens. It is perfect for preparing surfaces before painting and removing dried water-based paint, paint overspray, tape residue, glue, adhesive, wax, food and drink stains, bird droppings, smoke damage, tree sap, grease, oil, marker, crayon, pet stains, brake dust, fireplace soot, oxidation, lipstick, scuff marks, blood stains, suntan oil, tar, chewing gum, soap scum, and shoe polish.
Instructions for Use
- Always test on an inconspicuous area first.
- Cover areas not to be cleaned to prevent damage.
- Apply directly onto the surface and allow to penetrate briefly.
- Wipe off with a clean cloth or towel.
- For tougher stains, apply a generous amount, allow to stand for a few minutes, then scrub with a brush or scouring pad before wiping dry.
- For engine cleaning, use on a cold, dry engine.

Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment: chemical-resistant gloves, safety glasses with side shields, and protective clothing. Do not mix with other chemicals. Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: For this application, we'd recommend applying directly to the surface and allow to briefly penetrate before wiping clean with a cloth or towel. If using prior to painting, ensure any residue is fully rinsed away. If the stains are proving difficult to remove, apply a generous amount of cleaner and allow to stand for 5-10 minutes before wiping dry. To ensure any nicotine stains are covered and sealed, apply a finishing coat of Zinsser B-I-N in your choice of 1500+ RAL, BS & NCS Colours. | |
