Question about the product
Mike Napthine on 2018-07-12 11:17:51 | Question:
Hi, I have a new build narrowboat with intertuf 16 on the hull. Boat manufacturer has advised reblacking after the first year so due now really. Can you advise on what product is best. I was just going to pressure wash the hull and use the existing coats as a key where possible. TIA |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
We would recommend abrading areas where the coating is loose or missing International Intertuf 16, jet wash and apply another coat of the same over the top. If you want longer without lifting out every year, you could get it blasted and apply International Interzone 954 by spray (to 500 microns DFT) and get 5-10 years without lifting. | |
Malc Gwilliam on 2018-02-28 15:41:03 | Question:
Please advise can Intertuf 16 be purchased in 2.5ltr or 1ltr tins Thanks Malc |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
No, only 5L or 20L. | |
