Description
Wethertex C10 Multi Surface Fungicidal Wash - Versatile and Ready-to-Use Masonry Wash
Eliminates a wide range of bacterial, algal, and fungal growths from masonry and wood surfaces prior to painting. This colourless, water-based solution uses advanced bioactive technology to ensure fast and effective cleaning, making your surfaces ready for the next step in their maintenance.
Application and Usage
Wethertex C10 is perfect for both professional and DIY use. It can be applied directly to the surface using a pressurised knapsack or garden sprayer, but it can also be applied with a brush or roller. The surface should be thoroughly drenched to ensure the wash penetrates deep into the substrate's capillaries. Allow the product to work for 24 hours before removing dead growth with a steel brush or suitable power washer.
- Do not apply in rain or temperatures below 5°C.
- Avoid using on surfaces with active moisture issues without first addressing the source of the dampness.
Preparation and Maintenance
Proper preparation is key to achieving the best results. Identify and rectify sources of moisture such as condensation, rising damp, or faulty plumbing before application. Remove all loose and flaking material from the surface with a soft bristle brush. If possible, use a power washer for a more thorough clean. After application, clean all equipment with cold water immediately to avoid clogging and damage.
Storage Instructions
Store the Wethertex C10 Fungicidal Wash in a cool, dry place at temperatures above 5ºC. When stored properly, it has a shelf life of 12 months from the date of manufacture. Always keep the container tightly closed when not in use to maintain the product's effectiveness.
