Questions
Question about the product
John on 2024-08-02 20:03:41 | Question:
I’m looking for a product that I can overlay my concrete drive that 2 cars will be parked on. The original concrete is good but will need cleaning and remove a few loose parts. Which, if any can I use and how long will it last and what’s the working time once mixed? Thanks in anticipation. John |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
Assuming the concrete is prepared as detailed in the technical datasheet, you could consider this product. It allows for pouring or to be pumped for depths from 15mm up to 150mm in one application. Ensure it is mixed together with water in a forced action mixer or clean drum, or slow speed drill and spiral paddle mixer for 3 minutes, to achieve a uniform and lump free consistency. The mixture can be poured into the prepared area as soon as mixed, maintaining flow properties, and for no more than 30 minutes after to benefit from shrinking compensating properties. | |
