We wouldn’t recommend this product for your application, assuming the timber is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical data sheet we can recommend Zanders PF59 Stain Blocking Primer Finish followed by Wethertex OT25 Wood-Flex Satin Opaque Timber Paint for this application. This is available in many RAL and BS colours in matt finish.

In general we sort colours for products into 2 main groups - ‘Ready Mixed’ and ‘Tinted’.
Tinted colours will always be more expensive than Ready Mixed colours as they need to be produced at the time of order using a tinting machine dispensing colourant into a base*.
During busy periods, this means that tinted colours could take longer, for example – a ready mixed colour ordered on a 3-5 day delivery might arrive within 3 days, however a tinted colour might take the full 5 days to arrive.

To find Ready Mixed colours, search "ready mixed" or select the Ready Mixed 'colour chart'. To see Tinted colours select a colour chart such as RAL, BS, NCS, etc. or search for a colour/hue to see available or related options.

To ensure fair pricing, we split colours into ‘Price Bands’ to group together similar priced colours. If you wish to search for the cheapest tinted colours, always select Price Band 1.

Stir well before use
The temperature of the paint should preferably be above 15°C (59°F), otherwise extra thinner may be required to obtain application viscosity
Adding too much thinner results in reduced sag resistance
Adequate ventilation must be maintained during application and curing (please refer to INFORMATION SHEETS 1433 and 1434)
