Lacq Produra is a durable and high-quality protective product for all wooden surfaces. It is solvent-free and consists mainly of natural ingredients including vegetable oils and water. The unique composition of Produra provides a transparent protective coat from within the wood.

It provides a translucent stain, which remains flexible so it will not crack, peel or blister even in severe exterior weather conditions. Produra allows the wood to breathe, does not yellow and remains true to colour thanks to the highly resistant UV-filter.

Lacq Produra is suitable for all exterior wood. For example, cladding, sheds, verandas, fences, shutters.

No sanding is necessary before applying Lacq Produra to untreated wood. Check the surface for anything loose and/or damaged, and remove if necessary.

Produra’s outstanding quality means that most wooden surfaces just need one coat, but for optimum protection two coats are advised. It lends wood a matt protective coating whilst maintaining its natural look. Its composition means that Produra dries quickly so that you can complete your project fast.

Lacq Produra is available in 12 modern woodstains, in a durable matt finish.

Substrate Requirements

• Surface should be dry, dust free and free of any surface contamination ie. oil or grease etc
• Remove any loose parts
• Sanding is not necessary, only when a smooth finish is required

Coverage

• Approximately 16m² per litre

Application

• Stir well and apply in the direction of the grain with a flat paint brush
• Roller or spray can be used for larger surfaces
• Second layer can only be applied after complete drying of approximately 16 hours
• Three coats are recommended on untreated timber

Cleaning

• Clean tools with water
