questions Geoff Brown on 2022-07-25 18:11:34
Question:

Can this product be painted once cured

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:

As the Bonda Marine Wood Seal is typically used as a finish, it is not usually overcoated.

It also creates a non-porous seal and would therefore need to be sanded very thoroughly to produce a key prior to applying a paint.

The paint would also need to be tested on a small area to determine compatibility between itself and the Bonda Marine Wood Seal, observing for adhesion, drying and appearance.
