Lacq Rapidoil 2C is a two-component product which colours and protects interior wood surfaces with just one coat. Component A is based on a vegetable oil and is completely free of solvents. When the solvent free accelerator (Component B) is added, the drying process of the oil is shortened. The floor can be used after approximately 24 hours.

Rapidoil 2C makes the wood water repellent, which makes it also suitable for use in kitchens and bathrooms.

Thanks to the combination of Rapidoil and the hardener, you floor dries quickly after treatment. The oil can be used for up to four to five hours after it has been mixed with the hardener.

Rapidoil 2C can be used on every kind of wood, not just solid wood but also veneers. The colour result may differ depending on the type of wood.

The floor can be cleaned with a mop and water after five days. Use Lacq Nourishing Floor Soap for optimum cleaning and preservation.

As well as for floors, Rapidoil 2C is perfect for use on tables, kitchen worktops and other wooden furniture.

Substrate Requirements

Untreated Wood:

• Sand the surface according to the characteristics of the wood
• Do not use a finer grit than 120
• Please note that sanding marks and irregularities will be extra noticeable after applying the oil
• After sanding make sure all dust and other remains are removed thoroughly
• Ensure the surface is completely dry

Coverage

• Approximately 30-50m² per litre, depending on the wood, sanding method, application method and pre treatment

Note: This coverage is indicative. Results are highly dependent on the type of wood, application and preparation. We recommend you set up a trial area to determine the exact coverage and result.

Application

• Blend the A and B Components together 3:1. Stir thoroughly for approx 2 minutes
• Before applying Rapidoil, be sure the surface is completely dry
• Use a small amount of Rapidoil and apply with a cloth or polishing machine with thin beige pad
• Work in areas of 5-10m²
• Let Rapidoil 2C act for a few minutes
• Within 15 minutes, remove the excess oil using a cloth or polisher with a white pad
• The surface must feel dry to the touch
• Use this method for every 5-10m² area

Drying Times

• In well ventilated rooms, the surface can be used again in just 24-36 hours
• After five days the surface can be cleaned using water and Lacq Nourishing Floor Soap

Shelf Life

• Up to 24 months in original, unopened packaging
• Store in a cool dry place

• CAUTION: Used cloths and pads may self-combust. Rinse thoroughly with water after use
