Questions
Question about the product
Anthony on 2024-10-03 09:49:38 | Question:
Can I use Alpha Chem Stabilising Solution on a Granite wall which is held together with lime mortar, as it needs to breathe. Many thanks. |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
No, this product wouldn't be recommended as it would likely lower the breathability purposes of the wall via lime mortar if applied. Assuming the surface is clean, dry, sound and prepared as detailed in the technical datasheet, if a decorative finish is required, you could consider Keim Soldalit Fixativ as a stabiliser, followed by 2 coats of Keim Soldalit ME to finish.
Yvonne Keohane on 2023-07-12 15:31:44 | Question:
How do I apply to an exterior wall? Do i apply with roller? Must I paint it on very generously? Advice please. Thank you. |
Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team:
This product is for brush application only, it should be applied at the coverage rate of 25 to 30m² per 5 litres.
