Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: Yes, this product can be used, providing the surface is firstly thoroughly cleaned and degreased with Rust-Oleum Mathys ND14 Cleaner Degreaser, prior to de-rusting to a minimum s2 standard. A first coat of Rust-Oleum Noxyde Pegarust in English Red should then be applied to prime, prior to a second coat of Pegarust in an alternate colour to finish. | |

In terms of colour the client wants yellow (08E51) but this colour isn't indicated on your colour choices. Is there any way that this colour could be mixed. Alternatively if the colour cant be mixed do you have an alternative product in that colour that has the same properties as the Pegarust. Thanks, Chris |

Answer from Rawlins’ Technical Team: In terms of cleaning we would suggest washing with a 3% solution of Rust-Oleum Mathys ND14 Cleaner Degreaser but at a low pressure such as 100 to 200 psi as an indication. In terms of maintenance, any instances of mechanical damage should be repaired via local application of the original system after local degreasing and abrasion of the affected area. In both instances of cleaning and maintenance we would advise that both are conducted at least annually. | |
