Application and Usage
Designed for ease of use, this paint requires no priming or sanding on most surfaces. Simply ensure that the surface is smooth, dry, and free from contaminants before application. For best results, clean the surface thoroughly if wax or polish has been used previously.
- Application Methods: Brush or roller
- Stir thoroughly before use
- If applying by brush, follow the grain of the wood
- If rollering, use a short nap mohair roller
To achieve a distressed look, apply the Metallic Finish Furniture Paint, allow it to dry, then apply a coat of Chalky Finish Furniture Paint. After it dries, lightly abrade with moistened sandpaper or a stainless steel scouring pad, following the grain of the wood. Protect the finished look with Rust-Oleum Furniture Finishing Wax or Furniture Lacquer.
Important Information
- Do not use directly onto metal without an appropriate primer
- Not a stain-blocking product – prime surfaces where stain-bleed may be an issue
- Not recommended for outdoor use
- Colour accuracy may vary due to limitations of the print process
