Low temperature and high humidity will adversely affect application, drying and performance of any coating.



Surface Preparation


  • All surfaces should be clean, dry, sound and free from contaminants. 
  • Ensure the surface is left to dry for 1 to 2 weeks.
  • Use sandpaper to remove any unwanted old coatings or paints.



Preceeding Coat


  • Apply direct to wood.



Mixing


  • Mix well before use.



Application Conditions


  • As dictated by normal good painting practice. In confined spaces, provide adequate ventilation during application and drying.
  • Apply as a flood coat, work well into the grain, taking particular care at "end" grains.

Hi, I have floating oak shelves which I want to use outdoors on my patio. Can i use a teak oil to protect the wood from the elements or if not what product would you recommend? Thanks in advance, Peter
