Description
Rust-Oleum Premium Washable Kitchen Cupboard Paint
The Chalky Finish Kitchen Cupboard Paint is designed to transform your kitchen with a stylish and durable finish. This single-pack paint provides a beautiful chalky matt look that is both ultra-durable and scrubbable. It resists water, scuffs, and stains from common kitchen substances like coffee, tea, ketchup, mustard, and cooking oil, making it ideal for high-traffic areas.
Applications
This versatile paint is perfect for a variety of surfaces in your home. It can be used on:
- Kitchen cupboards and drawers
- Furniture pieces like tables and chairs
- Interior doors and trim
- Bathroom cabinets
Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from contamination before application. Use sugar soap to remove all traces of contamination, and if necessary, clean with white spirit if wax or oil has been used previously. Abrade hard or glossy surfaces before painting.
Application Instructions
Stir thoroughly before use and apply using a brush or roller. When brushing, follow the grain of the wood for best results. If using a roller, opt for a short to medium nap mohair roller. Two coats are recommended for optimal coverage and durability. The paint dries to the touch in one hour and is hard dry in four hours. It can be overcoated after four hours, with full cure achieved in seven days.
Cleaning and Maintenance
After painting, clean the application equipment with water. Avoid emptying washings into drains or watercourses. Instead, dispose of waste responsibly in accordance with local regulations. The painted surface should be cleaned with a damp cloth rather than abrasive cleaners to maintain its finish.
Limitations
This product is not suitable for use directly onto metal. If necessary, use a suitable metal primer. It is also not a stain-blocking product, so prime surfaces where stain bleed might be an issue. Avoid using on surfaces regularly immersed in water, such as bathtubs. The product should be applied and dried in temperatures above 10°C.

- Contains: 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate and 1,2-benzisothiazol-3(2H)-one, which may cause an allergic reaction. Hazardous respirable droplets may be formed when sprayed. Do not breathe spray or mist.
- Precautionary Measures: Read and follow all instructions carefully. Keep out of reach of children. If medical advice is needed, have the product container or label at hand.

We would recommend wood is sanded prior to application and in all applications to test on a small area for compatibility and adhesion prior to full application. | |
