Features & Benefits
- For professional use only
- Two-component, cold cured vinyl ester/acrylic copolymer reinforced with glass flakes
- Excellent resistance to demineralised water and a range of solvent
- For use as a lining in immersed environments where superior resistance to chemical attack is required
- Suitable for most chemical environments within the pH range of 0 to 9
- Suited for aggressive atmospheric and spillage conditions
- Applicable in thick coats by standard heavy duty airless spray equipment
- Excellent service temperature
Application
- For new build, maintenance and repair
- Stir well before use. It is recommended to use fixed volumes/can size for multi-component products. Mixing ratio: Base 35919 : Curing agent 99410 (98 : 2 by volume)
- Applicable in thick coats by standard heavy duty airless spray equipment. Nozzle pressure: 275 bar [4000 psi] Nozzle orifice: 0.025-0.048"
- If brush or roller application is used, more coats will be necessary to achieve the specified dry film thickness
- Apply at 500-3000 microns DFT/WFT (650 recommended), theoretical coverage rate 0.3 - 2m²/L
- Hard dry in 6 hours, fully cured in 4 days @ 20°C
- To avoid condensation, apply on a clean and dry surface with a temperature that is at least 3°C above the dew point
- Surface temperature must be above 10°C during application and curing
- Material temperatures should be between 15°C and 25°C. Retarder 99190 should be added if temperatures exceed 25°C/77°F
- Optimal paint temperature for proper mixing, pumping and spraying is: 15-25°C
Limitations
- Spray data are indicative and subject to adjustment. Pressure is for a material temperature of 20°C
- If brush or roller application is used, more coats will be necessary to achieve the specified dry film thickness
- Depending on the application and curing conditions, some of the volatile reactants may evaporate. Furthermore, the curing process is accompanied by contraction. As a result, volume solids and spreading rate are in practice lower than stated
