Surface Preparation

Surfaces to be treated should be clean, dry and free from mould or any other surface contaminant likely to cause adhesion problems such as wax, grease, oil etc.

Some pre-treated woods are sealed which can create adhesion problems. Splash on a small amount of water; if beading occurs the surface will need lightly sanding in order to create a key.

Mixing

Mix between 10°C - 25°C. Remove the three inner tins from the outer tin. Stir the liquid parts individually and pour into the large outer tin.

Ensure that the tin contents are completely emptied by scraping the sides etc. Now add the aggregate and mix the components together using a Watco mixing stick or similar until an even blend/consistency is obtained. Do not mix more than one tin at a time.

If a mixing blade and electric drill are used, also use a spatula to ensure that any unmixed material from the sides, corners and bottom of the tin is not missed.

Do not dilute.

Application

The area should be dry with a floor temperature of between -10°C - 30°C.

The viscosity will become somewhat thicker when applied at temperatures below 0°C and result in a slight loss of coverage.

When mixed, a short pile roller should be used to work the product over the area.

If the product is applied too thickly, curing problems can occur.
