Lacq Hardwood Oil is a traditional recipe of blended vegetable oils to protect and maintain wooden garden furniture, ramps or teak decks annually. This Hardwoodoil has a very high solids content (98%), which means that a very high coverage is achieved with the first layer.
- Provides 5 year protection from dirt or ageing for teakwood and bankirai etc.
- Easy to apply and suitable for garden furniture, decking and other exterior wood
Please Note: 20L Pack size is subject to a MOQ of 4 units
Application
Always put on a sample first to see if you get the desired finish. This can differ per wood type. Hardwood Oil is only for impregnation, so it is not possible layer thickness.
- The surface must be dry, free of dust and grease. Also remove any algae and moss first fouling and possible weathered (grayed) spots in the wood. Use for graying of the hardwood a good degreasing agent. It is advised to use Lacq Turbogel for this.
- Apply with a flat brush, roller or lint-free cloth. Leave for twenty minutes withdraw and remove the excess oil with a lint-free cloth. On highly absorbent surfaces can be applied a second layer wet-on-wet
- Build-up of layer thickness on the substrate must be prevented
- When you see "chapped" spots in the wood after complete drying, it's because it is not completely saturated. Repeat the treatment
- Do not process below 5 ℃ and above a relative humidity of 85 ℃
- Coverage: about 6-9 m² per liter. Note: Efficiency always depends on the structure, suction of the wood, the thickness of the layer, the tools used and the conditions of application
- Dust dry after approx. 6 hours, recoatable after approx. 16 hours
- Clean tools with turpentine

I have identified Lacq turbogel as the best product for refurbishing my solid oak front door and I see that lacq Hardwood Oil is recommended as a finishing product. Could you tell me what sort of finish I can expect, ie. sheen level? Thanks. |
