Rust-Oleum Mathys Noxyde Plus
Noxyde Plus is a single pack, water-based elastomeric coating formulated with a silane-modified acrylic binder. This advanced formulation provides unparalleled adhesion and corrosion protection, ensuring the longevity of your surfaces. Designed for both interior and exterior use, Noxyde Plus covers nuts, bolts, and welds effectively, preventing rust and corrosion.
Elastic and Durable Coating
The coating is 200% elastic, which means it can expand and contract with the surface without cracking or peeling. This flexibility ensures that the coating remains intact even under extreme weather conditions, providing continuous protection.
High Dirt Pick-Up Resistance
Noxyde Plus boasts a high resistance to dirt pick-up, keeping surfaces clean and maintaining their aesthetic appeal over time. This feature makes it an ideal choice for areas exposed to pollutants and environmental grime.
Application Versatility
- Iron and Steel: Provides excellent rust prevention and waterproofing.
- Special Alloys and Galvanised Iron: Ensures robust protection against corrosion.
- Aluminium, Copper, Zinc, and Lead: Offers strong adhesion and durability.
For best results, ensure the surface is free from grease, oil, and other contaminants. Sandblasting or high-pressure water jetting is recommended for optimal surface preparation.
Environmentally Friendly
Noxyde Plus is VOC compliant, containing only 45g/l of VOCs, making it an environmentally responsible choice. It is also free from harmful substances like lead, chromate, and zinc, ensuring safety during application and usage.
Application Methods
- Brush: Apply undiluted for rust prevention. Dilute with up to 25% water for use as an adhesion primer.
- Roller: Apply similarly to the brush method.
- Airless Spray: Use undiluted with specific nozzle and pressure settings for efficient application.
Do not apply Noxyde Plus if rain is expected within 24 hours. Ensure adequate ventilation during interior applications.
