Instructions

Substrate Preparation

  • Completely remove existing renders, rake out joints (to approximately 30 mm depth)
  • Systematically clean and dry the substrate
  • Treat any rising damp (for example with 232 PARINJECTION*)
  • Masonry that is saturated with water must be dried out before being covered
  • Repairs with PARLUMIERE STH must be carried out a minimum of 7 days before applying a top coat finish
  • The application of an approved galvanised (internally only) or stainless steel reinforcement mesh may be necessary depending on the type and condition of the masonry

Note:

PARLUMIERE STH does not stop all, but it slows down the migration of salts and their appearance on the surface.

A long term solution is only possible after completely removing all causes of rising damp.
