Assuming the timber is bare, clean, dry and sound we can recommend Zinnser Cover Stain followed by Zinsser Allcoat Exterior Water Based. This is available in matt, satin or gloss finishes in many Ral and BS colours. For this application we woud recommend 2 or 3 coats.
